I thought it would be fun to manipulate photos and transfer them onto fabric. I made a simple drawstring bag, but the ideas are endless: pencil cases, T shirts, patches for: hats,caps, bags. You could draw your own design and scan the image and print onto the transfer paper. Great for personalised gifts!

There are many different applications you can use - choose a simple photo to create your design and test on paper first. If you are using any writing -
the writing will need to be in reverse print!

Once you have your design print onto the transfer sheet (I purchased mine from a stationery store) and trim away excess paper. Wait for ink to dry - about 20 minutes or follow instructions given. Cotton fabric gives the best results. Use a hot iron that is empty of water and fix with the printed side to the fabric. Wait for it to cool a minute or so and carefully remove paper sheet and there is your printed design!
