Shrink plastic buttons
Shrink plastic is available in sheets from most craft stores. I used white. It shrinks down about 40% of its original size. It needs to be sanded with a fine sandpaper first in both directions - I used about a 320 grit. I cut a circle using a die cut and punched to holes with a paper punch. Coloured pencils were used to colour in the design - colours will intensify when they are heated! For a special project it is a good idea to test on scrap material. Projects look more defined if edges are coloured. I used black to outline the ladybird button.
When colouring and cutting is completed the shrink plastic can be heated with a heat gun or in a oven (small toastie ovens are perfect for small projects) on
